First time to the track with my F3
I took my 98 F3 to the track tonight for the first time. I've got a buddy that has a 2000 R6 thats been talking a bunch of junk. So I finally I rode my bike to the track. My very first pass was my fastest pass of the night, I ran 7.641 at 95 mph while pulling a 1.92 60'. This is 1/8th mile we're talkin here if ya can't tell by the numbers lol. But anyway I didn't race him first because he wanted to watch me run first. So I fixed him right up. I got some chalk and wrote N/T on my windscreen and found the slowest person I could find which was a yamaha cruiser. I raced him 4 times and beat him 3 of the 4. He got me on the last run when I tried to start off in second. That didn't work out to well in my favor of course. But of course after the first three runs it was "Oh my clutches are slippin." My words were, "next time don't talk trash when your clutches are slippin."
My second night out to the track was even more so promising than the first night. This time I dropped my 60' down to 1.81 and ran a 7.26 at 98 mph. Instead of leaving at 6 thousand I left at 8 this time. Seemed to work a little better. I also changed tires from an old dunlop to a Michelin pilot Power.
