Roughly how much would a full spray be, all White , and then All white with some black stripes? 3 on ea side
1. Shops charge different rates. Some can be $45/hr... some charge $145.
2. Same with paint. Some is $80gal, some is $800gal (and up) depending on what you get.
3. Details like graphics or painted stripes can have wildly different costs depending on design, labor, materials, and detail.
4. Damage and prep work. Prep is expensive. Bikes have to be handworked and if there are scratches etc... even more work. Labor adds up.
5. You're in AUS. Prices and currency are very different over there. Heck, our tire cost is even drastically different here for some reason, so I can't imagine what paint and labor costs.
I know, it doesn't help. Just go to a shop and ask.

If you have the focus, work ethics and dedication you can do it yourself extremely cheaply. I believe one of the RotM contenders did a white repaint using spray rattle cans that came out extremely well and I doubt cost more than $50-$75 USD. But the reason it came out so well is because of the amount of prep and attention to detail he put in to it.
If you do go the shop route, you can save money by removing the fairings yourself. You'll save even more by doing the prep yourself (sanding / repair / paint stripping). Those will be labor costs, not material costs. The labor is usually the majority of the costs. Doing the grunt work yourself will cut a lot of dollars out of the final price. Just remember if you do the prep work yourself, do it right. The final results of repainting is extremely dependant on the prep done.
