Default Securing fairings for painting.

Hey everyone,

I just bought a 97 cbr 600 this summer and I am going to re-paint the bike. I was just wondering if anyone has advice on securing the fairings so they wont blow around when I shoot them. I was thinking of screwing them to some plywood boxes I have that way they can't sway in the air when we spray them.

Just curious if anyone has any advice or other methods that worked well. Thanks a lot!

That would work, A paint shed or something would be the best but anything to keep them from moving is good. I will be painting mine with primer tommorow. I have a ladder and i use a pole laying across it and hang the fairings at two points from the pole. Not alot of wind here though.

I think screwing the fairings to cardboard would make it difficult to get around the edges without the paint dripping though.
