painting fairings

Default painting fairings

so i laid my bike down a while back a scraped up one fairing pretty good and was wondering if anyone knew about what it would cost to paint just one fairing blue.im just asking because i have no idea and dont want to get ripped off because im paying out of my pocket.

i got the right fairing, tail section and front plastic painted and some plastic welding done for $ 100 cash at a place called colour code collision in courtland ont. It cost more for the stickers than for the paint. front and back were black and fairing was red. he also told me if it ever happend again he could make me stickers for $50. so i would call around and see who will do it cheap.

another thing you could do is look in the yellow pages for a motorcycle salvage yard, often they will have fairings and stuff for your bike. identical plastic for my bike was $200 at the salvage yard

my whole bike painted 1 color runs about 400 bucks so think of it that way.

and that was with fixing 1 side fairing from a low crash

well I got the price today 380 dollars to paint 2 fairings the candy tahitian blue. it takes 3 different paints to make that color so i told him to go ahead should be done friday will post pics when i get it back together.

I think Colorrite.com sells that in a rattle can or DIY jars.

what year f4i is it. if its the 2006 blue i have a perfect left side and the right side has been scuffed but its still in pretty decent shape. also i have an upper for that color also
