Default a noob question about waxing

Is it ok to use an automotive wax (like turtle wax or whatever) to wax my bike. It wont hurt the plastic on the fairings and all that jazz will it?

thats what i use, never have a problem. I just take it easier on the bike than the car, and also easy around the stickers.

Don't use too much, I find that you will get white residue build-up on the decal edges if you do. Like tkrizzy said, take it easy on the sticker edges.
