Default getting rid of scratches and swirl marks

so i am sure this has been covered, but what is the best product to use to get rid of small surface scratches and swirl marks? how about cleaner

Well ideally you would need some polish and a polishing wheel/buffer if they were really bad swirl marks.....like you would use on a car's finish.

If they are light swirl marks/fine scratches....try some Meguiar's NXT Liquid Wax...it's about $15 for a bottle. It leaves the finish with a REAL deep, glossy shine & also fills in those fine scratches/swirl marks.

If your paint is in real bad shape, it won't do the job and you'd need to "wheel"/polish them out.

But if it's in okay shape & you just wanna make it look a little bit better....try the NXT wax!!

I just used Meguires cleaner wax on my tank sides the other day before I put on the clear vinyl paint protectors. It worked great for light swirl marks and scratches.
