I would probably not do that-- pressure washing your wheels may send some water into your wheel bearings and could maybe even rip the rubber boots inside your calipers--- get a good wheel cleaner-- i like eagle one- and spray your wheels and and use a fine brush on it--- then use a regular hose to spray them off--- it works pretty good-- and if you can use compressed air around your hubs to get some of the water out

Just don't hold the nozzle right next to your bike and its perfectly safe.

We have a pressure washer, but I'm not really comfortable using it. It does work wonders cleaning the chain though.

whatever you do just dont use the pressure was on anything you painted. even powder coated rims. rock chips can start big peels. your bike shouldn't be that dirty anyway. they got bikes for that already, dirtbike. lol. ride and wash safe.

I have never had a problem. I stay approx. 18 inches away with the tip and NEVER spray in the intake tubes.

i just happened to read this on my honda manual right now:

"the o-rings (on the chain) can be damaged by steam cleaning, high pressure washers, and certain solvents... do not brush the rubber o-rings. brushing will damage them. use of a solvent may also damage them."

but, reading this thread and others, it sounds like everybody does at least one of these. is it ok to do this as long as your careful?

this is from a 2004 cbr 600rr manual. i was reading this because i wanted to know if i should clean my chain, and how.
