i was thinking since i hate the rear stand that goes under the swing arm, i much rather spools, i was thinking of getting 2 3 inch bolts that would fit snug into the hollow axel and have them sticking out a half inch and use a stand for spools ..since i already have one?? im going to try it ...what do u guys think??

 

it most likely wouldn't get the rear tire off the ground since the axle is a good bit higher than spools mounted under the swingarm would be

oh yeah, you obviously wouldn't be able to remove the wheel so if it does work, it'd only be for storage

 

ya its not for removal of rear tire, its for winter storage, dont trust the other stand, i think it will lift it off the ground ...soon find out ..

 

its works just fine, I did it when I had my F3 all the time.

 

the pads are just fine for storage...they are plenty stable...
unless you have some ghetto rigged stands...

i have handy stands...and put the bike on there in like 5 seconds...i could probably do it in 3 seconds with spools but 2 seconds isn't that big of a difference to me.
