Default Aftermarket non painted pieces - any way to get rid of scratches?

I ordered one of the aftermarkey fairing kits about 2 months ago, all the painted pieces were good enough, but all of the non-painted pieces are really scratched dur to not being individually protected (all in a jumble scratching each other the entire trip). They sent me another set of non ainted pieces - but did the exact same thing and the second set are even more scratched than the first.

Does anyone know fo a way to clean up these scratches so the piece looks OK? (I am mainly concerned with the 2 RAM Air covers that are outward facing on my 2001 929RR)

Get a can of gloss black Krylon plastic paint and sand them down to smooth and hit it with a couple coats and then some clear and it will look awesome.

I had thought about paint, but was not sure if it would end up cracking under the twisting and such that this piece can have sometimes. But I do remember that some paints do not have this issue. Thanks for the reply

Krylon Fusion for plastic ($4 a can) and some clearcoat is perfect for it as it is designed for plastic and needs no primer (Be sure to spend extra time on sanding).
I did mine at the beginning of last season and no signs of cracking at all.

Krylon is cheap and can get the job done. But when you no longer want that powdered finish and want it to shine line a candy apple then get yourself an hvlp gun(they become quite useful) apply polyurethane, wet sand, repeat. you can find some sick colors and even get it in a pearl or a metallic.
