How is that street legal without a speedometer?

 

That's a fair question, and I had to check the details on the ebay site to verify that it didn't have one.

Regardless of that, in the UK a motorbike doesn't need to have a speedo for the annual MOT (roadworthyness test), the tester would just note that the bike doesn't have one.
That explains why the streetfighter has 12 months MOT.

Where I live motorbikes don't have a test at all. Never - nothing. You can ride whatever deathtrap you like so long as it has a plate and a road tax disc ( which you get when you buy the insurance) you're good to go.
Other oddity is that Horses, Policecars and Army vehicles don't have any insurance so you gotta be careful not to rear end one of those. Particularly the Horses.

 

We have to be careful of that here as well but not for the insurance reasons. Even tailgating can prove to be very hazardous.
