Hahahaha, you sound like an attorney!
I can completely understand what you mean tho when you say genetic mutant but some folk (like myself) like to personalize their bikes so they stand out from the crowd, why nominate a bike that looks like 500'000 other bikes? What is the point of having a BOTM if your going to nominate bikes that look the same as all the others that rolled off the production line? If these bikes were vintage machines i could understand the 100% stock idea but not for relatively new bikes.

Ladies and gentleman of the jury, i rest my case
Thanks Bill for standing up against the campaigning machine that is cbr(1000f)forum. Some like super clean well cared for bikes, and some like super performing machines with a few mods. I like both, but prefer the latter. I voted for cityworkers super clean stock f2 every time he ran it, but I would rather have a bike that doesn't look like anyone else's.

I have the same view as you rsp919, i too love the look of a super clean stock bikes and Stocks bike is a stunner but modifying a bike does take an artistic eye to pull it off, anyone with a decent bank balance can buy loads of trick bits but it don't necessarily mean the bike will look good, personally i think you done a great job on yours and is certainly worthy of a photoshoot for a performance bike magazine however i think your efforts will go unrecognized at the CBR1000F BOTM

I edited it because you used a swear word ...
"rsp919" ....

........
I thought i may get a reaction from using the word rigged, i must say CBRclassic that there are a few purists on here to say the least, not that there is anything wrong with that but it does mean that us modifiers are fighting a loosing battle, we will always be seen as the Mr Hyde's or the Dr Frankenstein's, there are a couple of terms that spring to mind...
CBRacism and modiphobia!

I think this is all a little Kenny Everett, Bill as in OTT man

I respect custom bikes and mods etc. I respect stock and ya know .....collector / style
pristine stuff........and all others in between.
RSP takes the line my bike sells itself ........fine no problemo here man.

I like to compare mine to everthing and talk about it with like minded individuals no
law against that either.

I think the machine talk and all that is ........nothing more than a cop out.

Ideal world .........polls for classes of bikes , Stock , Custom, Race ...etc...etc

What the hell..........no point in getting all hot and bothered about it......way I see it.

No vexes intended either man.

idk, I don't think I'd win, but it's a sweet little bike anyways, around here it was probably about an extra grand because I HAD to have that paint job lol.
