Wow. It only took a week to get the contestants and everyone had a picture album set up. It feels like christmas morning or something.

1. Only one vote per IP address. Irregularities in the votes or attempting to cheat will result in bans and premature tire wear.

Well boys and girls I will be the first to start. Here is my 07 CBR 600RR that I bought in October of 2010 with 2600 miles on it and pretty much bone stock except for sliders. The bike now has 5600 and climbing. I have done a few mods to it but it it sill pretty much stock as I think stock bikes just look super clean kinda like virgins . The mods that I have done are:
  • OEM Solo seat cowl
  • Ebay shorty levers
  • Ebay tinted double bubble windscreen
  • Hotbodies FE
I take a ton of pride into my ride. I wash it weekly and wax it monthly. I think that my hard work shows in how clean it really is. It might not have all the aftermarket parts as some of the other rides I'm up against but I do put just enough if not more effort into it.

Here are some pics

One can only assume that Yumi is a alien and no one should vote for her

I bought my F4i back in the beginning of March and have been busy making it my own ever since. It made it on a 1900 mile road trip from Wisconsin out to Mt. Rushmore, SD back in the beginning of June which was a blast. The roads out in the black hills are pretty awesome and the views are beautiful. Had an exhaust mishap along the way which wrecked my micron high mount.
When I purchased it.

Looking at the thread, I feel like i should include my obligatory self promotion!

I decided that last April i would buy a bike off a co-workers brother. He had this sweet 98 F3 and I couldn't say no... was more a birthday gift to myself. It was more or less stock with exception to the D&D and K&N filter. With 25000k on it, I knew it had been ridden well, and wanted to uphold that.

But it wasn't until long that i saw a couple mods that people were doing, and i couldnt say no.

With no previous experience with bikes, I stripped her down to the carbs, got a SSSA off a 93 VFR and went to work. So far, im pretty proud to say that the only thing I didn't do was weld on the upper shock mounts on the swing arm.

List of mods to date:

F4i front end conversion (fairings, headlight, upper stay mount, gauge pod, custom wire harness)
Custom vent covers
LED Flush mount side markers
LED Integrated side mirrors
Dual 8k HID & high-beam relay system with re-directional eyelid (chrome backed blackout vinyl)
Custom painted chrome windscreen with whiteout vinyl (not crazy about it but will leave it till the winter)
VFR 750 rear swing arm conversion with custom upper shock mount
VFR 800 rear 180 rim
Adjustable rear dogbone
520 conversion (47t rear vortex sprocket, necessary for vfr conversion)
Integrated swing arm brake line
gold powder coated rear caliper
2004 Yamaha R1 rear conversion with custom rear frame
Integrated LED tail light
stock dual exhaust (still to be linked)
Monster Energy Shock Slip-on
Custom hotrod sparkle white paint scheme (fairings, tank, rear rim)
10 coats of clear (wet sanded down to a butter finish) Still need to do a mirror finish shot.

Upcoming projects

Custom rear side fairings
Carbon fiber f4i upper vent covers
+1 front sprocket
LED rear light bar
Some decal work or custom airbrushing to match my shoei lid

This has been a labour of love and of a total commitment to this bike. I can never sell it and make back what I put into it. My kids will just have to inherit it

And, here comes the self promotion!

Hope you enjoy, here's my current project thread:

Show us a little love and please continue to support this fantastic community by voting on one of these great rides!

Cheers,
Nick

Hey nvanvlymen, Maybe is it is just me seeing things or lack there of but it looks like you don't have a midpipe connecting the header to the can?
