Would you buy a 954 with zero service history ?
dude.... not EVERYONE is trying to scam you. that's why YOU have to do the research and find out what to look for YOURSELF. if YOU find a good bike and YOU KNOW it because YOU looked it over, then why do you care about mot certs. i know a lot of 'mates' that have MOT guys fudge paperwork and what not to get bikes on the road that are questionable, lower mileage, etc. how bout YOU stop looking for just papers, and start learning stuff about your machine.

I can see where your coming from on that, this would be nice if i had a clue about the mechanics of a motorbike ! My bike and my previous cars go into a garage every year for their service.... and because Honda Fireblades (aka like the 954) stand up to high mileages a lot better than most (aka Suzuki !) then telling if one has been clocked etc is not so easy, that's why i have been looking for a decent paper trail, but i think i may need to lower my expectations as most owners these days just don't keep a bike like i do, and i have to either accept this or look for something newer.
Good luck man, after a long search I just picked up mine with 17xxx. I was nervous as I didn't have to much experience in what to look for, and he didn't have any previous maintenance paperwork either. But it looked clean and rode well, I looked it over inside and out, and feel like I got exactly what I wanted.
Well what a strange time for me to post this.... i have just put a deposit on a 2002 954 in the blue and white colours.... 2 owners from new, full service history.... all mot's going back, a power commander, leo vince exhaust etc etc and with 4,975 miles on the clock !!! It took a bit of time but there are bikes out there that fit my bill (just not many). When i get it i will post some pics on the site.
