Won't start/What did I screw up?
2002 954. I replaced the spark plugs by going under the air filter. I also installed a Power Commander IIIR. It would turn over but would not start. I uninstalled the Power Commander - same result. I checked the plugs - gap, connectors all correct. Plugs did have fuel on them - so lack of spark? Why? Tried again - would turn over but would not start. As far as I can tell everything was put back correctly - visually everything looks correct. Could I have pulled a wire loose from trying to uninstall connectors in tight spaces? Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Is your fuel pump priming? Are you getting fuel flow to your injectors? Are the plug boots on tight? Plug boot connector disconnector lose? Check things like this first. Ignition system is fairly simple, fuel+spark=running bike. It can get a little more complicated though such as timing but what it sounds like is either no spark or no fuel.
When I checked my valve clearance I forgot to plug in my cam sensor, it's on the right side of the head looking at it from the front. The plug is part of the harness that does the coils. The ecu needs it to tell when cylinder 1 is TDC and do the whole ignition thing.
Thanks for all the replies. It turns out the power commander was bad - I thought I had eliminated it as the problem but I gave up and took it to the dealer and after they unplugged it, it started. I got to ride home in the rain at night with the temperature about 35, but I didn't care - I really missed it. I didn't go over 90 though, what with traffic and all
