So my bike has been sitting for a while (so it has old gas) now the thing wonts start. It cranks, fuel pump primes, but nothing. There a points that in kinda make an attemps but nothing I also just noticed that the redlight next to the neutral is also on? can any1 help me

 

red light should go off after bike starts. What I'd do is change the spark plugs, drain the fuel tank and put some good gas in it. clean throttle bodys if need be. Charge the battery and she should start.

so did it work? cuz i have the same problem, my bike been sitting for almost a year, it had bad engine. I swapped engine about 2month ago. When we started it up i had misfire on 1 and 4, due to bad fuel pressure regulator; however we thought something was wrong with the computer.

so we took it to my friends shop and tried his computer, this is exactly what happened before the bike decided not to start at all:
1. I started the bike using my CDI, then i turned it off
2. Swapped CDI box and the bike started, then i turned it off again
3. i swapped it back to my CDI box, and the bike just decided not to start.
since then the bike never started. We checked every single thing on the bike, everything is good.

i remember one day before all that happened i was holding up the gas tank, and all of the sudden with out anyone touching anything, the fuel pump wire started to burn up, almost caught on fire. we changed that wire
However, after that happened the bike was still starting, until i started swapping CDI boxes.

so after checking everything on bike, we stopped at main wire harness, do you guys thing this could be the problem. any help would be appreciated it. thank you
