I think, repeat think, there is a point of diminishing return on more CCs. A new 600, tuned correctly, and with a rider who isn't too big, should easily pull along with just about any bike. It's the old power/weight thing.

I see what you are saying, but you are still forgetting about a little thing called torque, and the 600's from 3k to 10k just dont have it.
