Hey guys, how often do you change your brake fluid? Can you tell when to change by the color of the fluid, if getting changed, do you flush the whole lining or just suck out from the cup and refill with new ones?

 

to do it the right way.. get steel lines and put brand new dot 4 fluid in there and bleed the lines

 

I change it every 2nd season and Yes pull the lines at the bottem. I blow the lines out using shop air and then fill and belld them down.

 

i think the manual calls for every 12000 miles to flush the fluid.

 

i change out rear brakes every 5k miles or less(galfers w/custum mount from myrtle cyclesmount will rub once get a couple months on it).so i bleed both then. if you dont have to theres not much sense doing it more than once every season...
