03' 954, what temperature does the fan come on, and whatare "normal" temperatures?

Oh ok. I wasn't even close. I was comparing to cars, normally the fan on most cars would kick on around ~180-200 or so. I was sitting talking to a friend and never noticed the fan cut on, and it was reading about 210-215 or so I think. Cold as it was today it didn't take but a minute or so to cool it down back on the road...

Normal running temps around the 200 mark (+/- ~20 degrees?)?

if your worried about temps try water wetter, worked like magic in my bike.

 

My fan came on @ 215 and the bike would maintain 180 (unless it was very hot out) while riding above 40 mph & 4k rpm.

 

wix also offers additives for coolant to make your vehicle run cooler.. good stuff

 

my 954 fan comes on at 214. i live in south georgia. my temp has never went over 220. my average riding temp is 190
