Turn Signal Problems!!!!
This is the set up and the problem. The bike has bulbs for the front turn signals and leds for the rear. The problem is that the left side lights (as you are setting on the bike) stay on but when I use the left blinker they work. The right side, when I use the blinker only the rear led works and the front goes out. Some times the right blinks and some times it just stays lit or blinks so fast until it looks like it stays lit. Please help me???
i know the right side turn signal problem is the resistor for the rear LED is going bad. you need a 5 ohm resistor for it (same thing happened to me a few months ago).
you could just add another incadescent bulb to the circuit (that's what i did). Above each of the bright lights in the front, there is a slot for another turn signal. it looks cool, adds a bit of functionality to your bike, and doesn't really cost any more than buying another resistor.
on the left, does your rear LED stay lit up, or is it just the front that stays lit up? did this just start happening, or has it been going on since you got the bike? if you're using the stock turn signals and its only the front that stays on, it's probably just the running light wire is still hooked up. you should have a ground hooked up, and a LT wire hooked up, and there should be a third wire that's for running lights. if you dont want it, unplug it and cap it.
