Default F4i turn signal problems

so i wanted aftermarket turn signals so in my stupidity i used a dremmel to widen the stock turn signal hole to fit the ones i bought. due to clearance issues i couldn't make them fit. i was wondering if these

What exactly did you do? Did you sand off the center of the mounting holes to enlarge those or did you actually cut out the section where they are mounted?

Yep, without pictures, it's hard gauge the amount you took off. You may consider filling-in the hole you cut with fiberglass, rather than covering it up.

Had a similar problem. I put a big washer on the backside. Worked like a charm. I'm running Hotbodies LEDs that fit in the signal indent/recess. Unless you completely cut out that indent, you should be able to do what I did & use just about any type.

Good luck.

im afraid i cut the recessed part out to fit the ones i bought. Instead of the two holes that should be there stock i have one large hole. I might just have to take the washer approach. Any other ideas would be welcome
