trade my 954 D&D for your yosh or two bros?
im in columbia, sc. i have a 954 bolt on D&D exhaust i want to trade even for a yoshimura or a two bros bolt on. its in good shape inside and out side. it will buff out like new when mothers polish is used. the D&D name tag is faded and thats the only thing wrong with it. no dings or dents at all...

it was excellent, shorter trip this time though. around 900 miles. it handled like i was on a rail, very comfy and confident into the corners. bike ran like a beast the whole way except for the running rich from 0-70 miles an hour problem ive been having. with 10/40 oil, after 1500 miles it was diluted with fuel, enough to get past the rings and there for i had to keep a constant eye on the level. a qaurt every 800 miles. not good i know but, what i do notice is that when i switch to 20/50 motorcyle oil it doesnt hardly consume oil at all. so i know it due to the oil thinning and not bad rings.
im replacing the k&n filter with oem and see if that helps. hope fully the ecu will see less air flow in the lower speeds and dump less fuel. idk, after i install the oem filter tomorrow i'll have it dyno'ed again to make sure.
im headed back to deals gap, gatlinburg this sat. im gonna ride, the parkway, cherohola skyway and prob hywy 441 from cherokee to gatlinburg some. anyone is welcome to join in and i can always alter the route.

Two Brothers X-metal
Hello -
If you haven't found a taker already, I'd be willing to swap your D&D for my 2 Bros X-metal (Bronze/Gold colored) bolt-on exhaust for my 02 954. I live in Reno, so we'd have to ship to each other, but if you're still looking, let me know and I'll send you a couple of pics. It does have some very minor scuffing from a low-side at about 15mph (hit the neighbor's damn dog), but frame sliders spared it all but a little scratch on the bolt-on section. As I said, if you're still looking hit me up.

Ok, obviously my being lazy and trying to attach via a Quick Reply was not the way to go. I've uploaded them directly to the post as advised, apologies for the delay, work and wife have demanded my attention... Also, as an update, I noticed additional scuffing at the cap end of the can, nothing serious, but it's non-mint so I wanted to practice truth in advertising.

thanks for your time but im gonna hold off for now. i just put a pc tune on my bike yesterday and it makes the pipe sound a little better to me. and it runs better of coarse too. but, if i change my mind in the near future and if you still have the pipe and are still interested, i'll give you a shout. thanks again.
