Hello everyone, I'm trying to decide between an akrapovic, two bros, or yoshimura slip-on for my '06 1000rr. To be completely honest I don't care much about which one will give me the most ponies, I think that the 1krr has enough power for me as it comes. I'm looking for the best looking and sounding one. I think that those 3 I mentioned are the better looking ones, now I just have to figure out which one will give me the best sound. At first glance I'm inclined towards the akra, but i've read in some other posts that it doesn't sound all that great, I also listened to a sound clip and I wasn't very impressed, although I'm not sure it was one of their new hex pipes. I used to have a two bros back when i had a 600f4i and the sound was great. My buddy has a yosh on his 929rr and it sounds pretty good, too. Any suggestions?

 

get the Akra if you appreciate the finer things in life is all i'm going to say

 

Two brothers sounds the best if you like a deep sound. The Carbon Fiber Two Broslooks better than the Akra and the Yosh in my opinion. The Akra gives the best power, but you said that didn't matter. Go with the Two Bros.

 

power isn't going to be much for a slip on...but as far as quality...akra all the way.

 

Yosh belongs on gixxers not Hondas. Go for Akra.

i noticed you threw up akro and not sato or arata. i have an arata on my 1krr and LOVE IT!!!!! today was an actual get out and tear it up day. love the exhaust note, and i mean LOVE it. mean, agressive, and loud enough to let the soccer moms on cell phones im near them.

the arata is priced along side of the akro.


but if those 3 are your only choices, go with the akro. the build quality and finish is far greater than the other 2 mentioned.
