Default Thinking about a switch to 954...

hey hey hey... I recently picked up a 98 F3 smokin joe edition for $700. I've done some work to get it back together and it looks pretty good, however, I've been looking at the 954's and I'm REALLY thinking about trading up to it. 75% of the move has to do with model year upgrade and looks and the other 25% is based on the "expected" performance difference. My problem is, I don't know much about them. Can all that know, give me some insight on the pro's and con's of this change?

Thanks in advance!

NO comparison at all. The 54 will kick an f3*s *** all day at everything. And going to FI is nice too. Besides they are dead sexy

Yeah they are dead sexy. I don't think there is a better looking bike out there. The new 1000's that they make are goofy looking. They have weird *** undertails with the directionals sticking off of a piece of plastic. There are no fairings on them n to me they look really plain. Get a 954 n customize it. You will find a ton of different aftermarket parts out there. Personalize it to your liking.

I rode a 97 f3 for three years before selling it to get my 03 954 and don't regret it for one second! My only complaint is thatat low speeds on/off the throttle is a bit jerky. Otherwise the 954 out performs the f3 hands down. And yeah, she's one sexy bitch!
