I know that the stock spring rate in the forks are .71 and that is for about 150lbs. I am 5'10" and about 220, I am sorry to say, and I am running .90 The suggested settings were for .95 at my weight, but I wanted a little comfort on the street. So I added a little preload and it works really well for me. Check outhttp://www.racetech.com/evalving/eng...ngname=englishfor more info. They have a nice chart there to help you out.

Best of luck!

dialed in for 150 lbs? damn. Can someone that is 150 lbs even control one of these things? anyone about 220 and 6"1'? What setup are you using?
I'm insulted, but i can see where you are comming from. I'm 5'11" 165 and the bike fits, it's all about your skill level.

Size: 1.6 KBi am 5,8.5-145lbs,skill level only goes so far!!,if the set-up is not correct the bike will basically control
you-as all your riding inputs will be counter acting something that is f**ked up in the suspension.
the bike does not care about your height and/or weight nor riding skills it/she only does what it is
told to do-hence the bike is a riding tool!!-however i do agree with you-riding skill can overcome
alot!!

sorry, didnt mean to insult the little people in here...

Okay, now im really kidding, however, I was more using the stock suspension/weight setup to exaggerate the amount of power the bike puts out. However, Im starting to get used to it. It was just a huge increase over my 600 f3. Im trying to find some local shops for suspension work. Anyone fro so cal?
