Just jumping in on this topic.....but also the stabilizer will help coming out of a tight corner hard on the throttle. My old 900RR would do that a lot (tank slap) getting on the highway, around the tight onramp, when hard on the throttle because the front tire gets so light....scary stuff lol

thx alot im gonna look into it. I refuse to buy a stabilizer for 500 bucks. I know its worth it but ill stick witth the budget ones.

With gsxr damper,I suggest you drain the fluid and replace with 15w or 20w fork oil.Stock is 5w and is too soft.
Just to let you guys know, before you make the same mistake I did. The bracket will only work for a streetfighter. There is not enough clearance with the fairing on. Now I have to try and figure out another way to mount the damper I have and try to see if Hohey will let me return the brackets.

dampers are a good safety measure, for those times you are pushing hard, highly recommended.
seats or saddle you call them, if designed and cut right will make your riding better, and yes you will be able to hang off the bike much better as they are not restrictive to the ''standard rider'' set up from the factory.

Critically important to buy a damper with the exception of the 2004 and up 1000RR because it's built-in. The electronic one does wonders and is very stable for sure.

I had the Scotts brand on my 929RR and man it was the best investment I ever made. After going into a "tank-slapper" but recovered the very next day I bought the Scotts. Caught a used one deal on Ebay, paying only $225 and it made a tremendous difference. Night and Day difference.

I would even paid a little more for it because it's worth it.

The very two things work spending money on are good tires and a damper which may save your "a#%" on the road.
