I know our bikes are nosier then most anyways but I was noticing a slight tick while the bike was idling. Is this normal or something to be worried about?

 

Could be the cam chain tensioner. Just keep an an eye on it in case it gets worse.

 

Cam chain tensioner is not a tick, it's a rattle. Make a video of the tick, but it's probably normal. Videos have a way of making things sound worse than they are.

 

HI there, mines always ticked sounds like its coming from an area above the coolant had various mechanics look at it and they said it nothing to worry about. so i dont. but its can be annoying sometimes , and the noisey *** shoei helmet dosent help.

 

You should be wearing ear plugs my friend. You are causes damage to your hearing every time you ride. I hate riding without ear plugs now. They tune out all the engine noise and all you hear is the sweet exhaust sound.

If you can't hear it while riding, with ear plugs, then don't worry about it.
