RE: slight tick coming from motor
as far as I can tell, your "tick" is normal. If its not insanely loud and feeling like your bike is comin apart, youve prolly had that tick for the life of the bike. With all those small parts, all of them manufactured to be as light as possible, your bound to get some noise somewhere. Ive been told injectors and all other kinds of parts that might be making the noise. Listening to other peoples bikes let me know that hey, its normal. EVERY modern sportbike ticks. If you got friends with bikes have them start it up an listen for it. when your listenin for it, its easy to pick up. Depending on oil weight an a thousand other factors, some bikes tick less, some more. You may notice it ticks more when your tank is near empty... less "insulation" (gas) from the noise is the only difference. If it really bothers you, like it did me, and you change your oil at a dealership, have them listen. They can generally pick up whether its normal or if you actually have something wrong. but my bet is, its normal.
good luck, hope i helped,
