Default Running Light modification

I'm looking at adding runner lights to the inside top corners of my headlight casing (there seems to be positions already marked so I only have to drill holes in the outer plastic). Does anyone know if there is a kit to do this or has anyone else done it?

http://www.ronayers.com/browseparts....33140-MCJ-D00+This is where you can buy the harness if you want or you can make your own.I did it on my bike and it was pretty easy and looks cool.

You don't really have to run a new harness although for 11 bucks I can't imagine it's gonna break the wallet if you do...

just splice a long wire from the original blinker and run it up the headlight wire to the position you want to put the brow lights and make sure you do a clean job tidying up the splice so you don't ground out nor does it pull loose... check for play with the bars turned lock to lock and youre good to go...

Me personally i had a extra set of flushmounts so i took the lights from there and spliced into my exisisting blinkers, i think its a waste of money to buy a kit when its only a hour total job because of removing the headlight and drilling. the actual process of wiring the blinker is a 5 minute job. Dont waste ur money on a "kit"

I did mine just like you Brooklyn, but I used led's instead of regular bulbs. Also did not used a relay I used diodes to wire it all up and they also work as marker and turn signal. As far as making the holes I used a step bit and drill just be careful not to shove the shavings in to the headlight. You don't have to remove the headlight but it does help.

Thanks letsride.

Is that for a centre light only or can you use two to do both corners? I was looking for something like the R1 look

(top corners) as is here ->

A mate of mine suggested I simply buy a couple leads from the wreckers that take push in lights like these

but was there any previous CBR that ran dual running lights in the light housing that I can use?

thanks for all your help!

You can use the two that go above the high beams like you have pictured, but I wouldn't use red or blue since that is designated for emergency vehicles or show bikes.
