Security.....
Im gettin ready to come home after being gone for 15 months, since ivehad the bikei have investedatleast $5,000 not including what i payed for the bike ($6,800) in paint, chrome, aftermarket parts, such and such. I am wondering what everybody has on there investments to protect them from ******** (<---i know its a bad word!) that like to steal bikes cause they dont believe in working to get where many of us are in our lifes??? Im about to purchase an alarm off the ebay i just dont like the "remote start" idea with bikes.....The wheel locks are nice but i dont wanna wake up one morning and forget to take it off and **** up a caliber/wheel/rotor. I live in an apartment right now and (bike is being stored in my twin brothers storage with his 600rr) im very attempted to pay $60.00 a month for a storage at the apartment complex but figured maybe an alarm and bike cover would be cheaper and hopefully prevent somebody from trying to steal my baby......plus i would be able to see my bike out my window upstairs and the 9mm will be running downstairs wit me if i hear it go off! Back to the subject what does everybody use?

Scorpio alarm with all the bells and whistles. Love it.
At home, it's in a locked shed (with alarm on) and cabled to the floor. Also have a German Shepherd.
Cable and disk lock in the trunk, can tie it to my buddies bike (a Limited EditionR1, I figure they'll want it instead of mine), disk lock, and alarm everything. So far....(knock on wood).

RE: Security.....
lo jack also helps... put those stickers big and proud on the forks or inside the upper fairing so you could see if you were sitting on the bike... I've torn my bike down more than once and I still have no idea where they installed it... it has a 48 battery life after being removed so even if I don't get my bike back in one piece the ******* who has it will get caught
