Purchasing a 954

Default Purchasing a 954

I've been riding my F4i for 6 years, now its gonna be the wifes and i am looking at buying a 954rr. Any advice 954 owners could give would be appreciated. Any issues to watch for? thanks guys

Why are you going with a 954? Just curious. Its a great choice BTW! Just look for the usual in purchasing a pre-cared for bike. Maintenance, Mileage etc. Alot of these machines have had some mods performed to them. verify and check the install on these mods. You are close to Oregon. Go to Craigslist for Portland. Do a search for 954. There are at least 2 of them that are pretty clean.

check the bike through and through.... especially frame, subframe ect.

I am going with a 954 because it makes much more torque and weighs the same as my f4i. And i love the looks of the 954, i think they are better looking than the 1000rr's. They are also much more affordable.

Its a 600 on steroids! +1! Plus it is one liter bike that I find more comfortable to ride for any length of time! Good luck Hunting for the next bike and make sure to post up when you get it! Remember that the Black/Red ones are faster!
