With just a slipon you really dont "need" one just for what its worth. However if you are going to get one i would get a usb version. Can take the laptop right out to the bike to make any adjustments, and i am pretty sure most dyno tuners do it the same way. With where you are at, if not going much further mod wise i would say you do not need the ignition add on either, just the standard for changing air/fuel will be just fine.

TK do you have any other suggestions for mods I could do without causing reliability issues? Thanks for the input.

Nothing short of crazy engine work or nitrous is going to effect reliabilty. My mod list on almost every bike i have ever owned goes like this. -1 front sprocket, steering dampner, slip on exhaust, bmc or k&n air filter. for me those are the basic must have's. You can add on from there or do whatever you like, but those mods bring some pep to the bike, get a little more air flowing, and the dampner i just cant ride without one, makes it soo much easier to be fast.
