I was looking through the downloadable maps for the CBR954 on power commanders website and seen one that said "Pin 17 (on grey connector) connected to 12 Volts (switched)" in the map description.

Has anyone heard of this or have any idea what the purpose of this mod is?

 

ya, i read something about that, the ECU work raises the redline to something close to 13.5k rpms or 13.8k rpms.... so it'd be a map that fed your throttle bodies info what to do above the normal 12k rpms redline.


or it could be something else, but im pretty sure thats what it is. you switch these 2 pins on the ECU and it changes the redline
