opinions please
as you all know, i just picked up my 954 on friday, its showroom clean, scratch free, and generally mod free.
the previous owner...the parts guy at the local honda dealership...put on the micron exhaust, and some frame sliders.
i was thinking that i'd like a new windscreen, possibly a steering damper, flush mount blinkers, and something for the undertail area.
and maybe peel off the white vynal on the tail, as i think it would look better being all black.
what are good brands of those items to look for, and do you think there are other things that i'm missing that would make good additions to this bike?
thanks for your help

I peeled off the white on my tail also, and bought some Red/Silver 954rr stickers for it. Zero Gravity makes some pretty good windscreens, and I have a scotts damper.I went with the hotbodies undertail, but I have seen a nice one made by devil, that I have never seenmounted on anything. As for the front turn signals, I had originally bought some lil cheap ebay set. They lasted but the downfall is that I had to cut away the inner fairing to make em fit. You may wanna look into some watsens, or protons.Check out my photo album for pics/ideas.

hey, how do you like that seat?
my poor bum starts to hurt after a while....a short while..
i've read that corbin, and sargent are both good...trying to figure out which is better, or if they're both fine.
i like your tail without the white vinyl, looks way better imo.
and that undertail is pretty sweet, but i'll try to find the devil one you mentioned.
dont think i'd get away with my plate being that far under the tail around here though.

Yea, that was in Ga when I had the plate like that. The cops never bothered me either. Because of Military laws, I now have real turn signals that stick out to the sides, and a plate bracket up there. The Corbin is awesome. Its a little stiff at first, but after break in, its great. Very comfy. It moved my riding position back some though. Im tall, so it doesnt bother me at all. Sargents are good as well, but I have never sat on one before. I think they are slightly cheaper too. Good luck, and customize your bike to fit what you like. It doesnt matter what others think, as long as you like it.

i'm actually wondering where i might find a complete fairing set for my bike that is unpainted.
i have a body shop at the end of my street, and i think it would be cool to do something completely custom as far as the paint job goes.
checked ebay, but the only unfinished stuff is a fiberglass upper fairing here and there.

Ride it for the summer, if its still in one piece give them your farings to paint. Best 2 mods on my bike have to be the Sargent seat, and the steering dampner. Best bang for buck performace mod is going to a -1 sprocket in front, really wakes up the bike. Oh and of course i just happen to have one for sale pm me if interested.
