Guess I,m one too. I'm 35 but ROCKIN an 03' 954 and a 88' 1000f. One is for all day the other for a few hours of White Knuckles and Grins. And yes the 954 is one of the Sickest bikes out there. If you set her up with a Damper and a few engine tweeks you got 150 at the wheel and 370lbs (Dry) and thats more than a match for most bikes out there in the right hands. And Damnit I Don't Feel That Old.

Hah!!! Ya got me by a little bit there... I'll be 37 in about 3 weeks. So yeah we're still rockin' you bet !
Old enough to know better and young enough to not care.
CBRClassic - don't worry, you have the bike all of us kids drooled over when we were young. And you're probably the only one here who can still feel his " 2 friends from the south "
also, as far as the loud D&D, ... if you want one that really sounds great try the Two Brothers... but not the new ugly ones, (sorry if any of you have them) ... but if you can find one (may be difficult?) of the older design (see my sig below). Or maybe one of the guys here has one they can sell you... they also made them in carbon fiber. Also I just put a new FMF titanium exhaust on my FZR600 that is awesome and sounds great, lots of places online still have them for the 954's I believe, you can search and find out. I got the (inside the endcap) quiet-core insert though, which cut about half of the noise, but didn't degrade the performance.
The FMF PowerCore S pipes come in Titanium, Blue to gold fade, and Bronze colors. And since they stopped making them a little over 6 months ago, most places are running blow-out deals on them, and not many people have them (they only made them for a year) so they're pretty unique.
FMF mostly makes motocross exhausts so you might not have heard of them. Unfortunately they discontinued the series and are designing some new semi-trapezoidal pipes that will probably only be for the latest bikes. (Similar to Yoshimura's triangular shape)

I was with you , but a 30 year old when they came out .... and yer , I drooled too.
I owned a kawasaki Z1b 900 bored to 1000 in those days and I was extremely tempted to sell for for CBR .... but I stayed faithful to my Kwaka for a few more years ...
I know that I am not the only one in here still living and feeling these great older rides
I have already found quite a few older guys in here hanging onto these old classics ..and it makes me feel good knowing that my old ride is still a favorite with so many others as well ...
I will tell you something a little weird I spose , but I still drool over my ride every day mate ... no ****!! ...
Because she gets used alot, she is parked mostly at by back door under the veranda ... right where I can see her and have to walk past her every time I go out side
I get lottsa drooling time
