of white-blue 954. What a bike, so smooth beautiful and well made! I'm 39 and past the age of manic riding. Power is plenty everywhere with the only exception of a couple of holes in the midrange. Bike is bone stock and i'm not interested in remapping or aftermarket air filter since Greece is a dusty place. So, i have a few questions, would a bolt-on alleviate these without a PC3? Does it make sense as a sole modification? How about the exhaust valve, does it make sense to have it disconnected?
Many thanks in advance!

Welcome to our forum mate ..
All the usual welcome committee seems to be asleep
You will find plenty of 954. owners in here that know near allll the answers to your questions ..
I am not a 954. expert so I will leave it to them
Its good to hear that you have left the maniac days behind to some extent ..
[align=center]It will not be much fun dead I expect ...
but cruisin around on your new ride will be bloody great , this I know
Ride Safe, Smart and Aware ..AND HAVE FUN

1st off welcome agis. To try and answer some of your ?'s a bolt on exhaust can is mainly to change the sound. It will not do much for performance alone, but you also definatly dont need a power commander just for a bolt on. As far as your midrange holes im not sure short of getting a commander and a dyno tune. The one free thing you could do is the flapper mod, that usually helps down low a bit. As far as the exhaust valve, again i would leave it be, if you remove it for a straight thru pipe you will want a pc3 to fix your air fuel ratio. Any other questions just ask, we will be glad to try and help.

Thank you all for your replies.I will beleaving the engine alone as we speak and invest energy and $ into the suspension should the need arise and look into the flapper mod.I will post pics in a couple of days. I have downloaded already the maintenance manual but havent found yet the owners' manual, any links available?
