Old Fart reporting in!
Hey all,
Just got me a new [to me] 2002 954.
Its pretty damn mint. 14000 km's[8750 miles] and has a nice sounding D&D slipon.
Im very very happy with this and am no stranger to quick bikes [had Gixxers/XB12/V-Max etc] i just LOVE the totally predictable power this beast throws at the ground.
the D&D is a little louder than i would like, but im not complaining.
Just turned a ripe old 37 years of age, wondering if any other old farts are in here rockin' the 954?

Welcome. I'ts cool to hear that some more mature riders are still rockin the 954. Most riders in their late thirtys to early 40's are riding Harley's or Honda Goldwings. The 954 is the best bike I have ever owned. You will enjoy it.

I think my "life odometer" is due to break soon

Wow, I'm 34, so that puts me in the old fart category too I guess. But I have to say the 954 is the best bike I've ever owned. My 03' R1 was a great bike, but to me the 954 takes it all the way around.
