Default noisey cam chain tensioner after oil change?

I changed my oil with 3 quarts of rotella t6 5w40 and almost a full quart of mobil 1 vtwin 20w50. I don't usually mix oil weights, but I use the 20w50 in my other bike and thought the 5w40 might be too thin. Anyway the cam chain tensioner started to rattle for a few seconds on a cold start and did it again when I started it to leave work. It rattled for a good 20 seconds the second time.

Could this be from the oil or is the tensioner starting to go out all ready?

Is there any place to get a manual tensioner that is less than $67 shipped? That's how much APE wants for the tensioner, gasket and shipping. I searched ebay and didn't find any for the 954.

60 seconds this morning before it stopped rattling. I'm thinking that 20w50 must have really thickened the mix.

I would drain the oil and refill with 10w40 like the service manuals calls for. I run Amsoil 10w40. My buddy has run Honda HP4 in his 929 for the past 9 years with no problems.

I would never mix two different oils on purpose in my bike.
