Default cam chain tensioner

has ne one here actually checked in to the price of a honda oem cam chain tensioner. I checked today and it was arond 120 at my local honda dealership[sm=smiley21.gif]. the stock tail pieces are about 400 for all.

make e-bay ur best freind.

I got a manual CCT for 50$ shipped.

You should be able to get a rear tail for under 150$

Certainly Honda is high, but it's your dealer that's taking you to the cleaners. Check out CrotchRocket.com, they're not the cheapest, but it'll give you an idea. All the parts you're talking about run about $300 plus shipping.

Side covers $110 x 2
Rear center $65
CCT $40

Yea, not as cheap as used on ebay but not the $500 your dealer wanted from you.

In Ottawa, Canada, my dealer could order one from an outside company for 100 dollars, but they said it would take weeks. they could also get me another Automatic on for 61.00 with tax in.
I gotthe manual APE type of ebay for 45.00 adn 25.00 shipping (canada) from this guy in like 5 days, and it was a smooth transaction and he sent me a link to install it.

ya im not buying things from my dealer, i just thouht id hit em up just to check. they arnt gettin my money.
