I don't have any hard data for you but it seems that most people feel Yoshi pipes are on the quieter end of the aftermarket.
That being said, I just bought a FZ1 with a Yoshi on it and it's maybe just a touch quieter at idle than the Coffman short pipe on my old F4i at idle. I don't know about WOT...
I go to Laguna Seca every chance possible. They have 96-98db limit riding by sound-booth between turn-5 and 6.
My '05 CBR600RR with Yoshimura RS-5 didn't pass 98bd limit without noise-insert.
With noise-insert and hugging left side of track, I barely passed.
My '07 CBR600RR with factory won't pass noise @ Laguna.
I'm looking for DB-killer for factory exhaust.
My Ninja 250 with aftermarket slip-on won't pass either. Although I suspect I got singled out because I was closest in group going by.

I remember reading they had imposed noise restrictions a few years back but when a stock exhaust can't pass? That sucks, man!
