Default No start,absult dead

Been riding this 954 for 4 years no problem through all weather conditions.
Over 50000 kms.
Last night, got gas after work, went to start and all was good.
Fuel pump cycled, gauges and lights lit..
Hit starter button and heard "snap". Everything went dead. No power anything.
Got it home and did checking with honda manual.
Looks like starter relay/diode.
Have riden this turd in rain many times and have serviced the crap otta it.
Anyone else ran into this before?

Well just to let you guys know.
After all the tests showed solinoid and borrowing one...
End up being an internal short(open?)
in the battery.
Would read full voltage sitting but once loaded (starter) would go dead.
Took battery otta my RC51 and all good.
Sometimes the easiest is the hardest!

Cool

Dude if you heard a "Snap" have a look at the starter motor relay solonoid, as they do go "Snap" when they go,
, & these parts do fail around your OD, & you can pick up a new one on line for $5, but if your in a hurry & want it now
your looking at $50 to $90. C.W
