I just bought my first 954rr last week. Its a 2003 red and black and I love it! It came with a hindle slip on, and It sounds alright but I am looking for a change.

To tell you the truth I am looking for the loudest exhaust out there, I'm looking for a full system and I would like it to be a high mount.

I have been searching for a while, checking out what I like.

I was wondering what you guys have tried out, and any suggestions or opinions. Also any opinions on the full micron race system http://www.micron-exhaust.com/store/prodsystems.htm

IMHO, that D&D in the first link is just plain tacky. Looks like a hair band from the 80's.

The 2nd one is okay, but still doesn't look quite right making that looping motion to get up to the rear.

Hell, enjoy the bike for what it is and after playing on it for a while, sell it and get something with an undertail exhaust from the factory (i.e. a newer bike); that's what I plan on doing. However, after buying three motorcycles in the past three months, that could be kinda tricky!

 

I plan on keeping my 954 for as long as I live, I'm never going to sell it.

Like I said in my first post, I am looking for a high mount exhaust, I wouldnt mind an undertail, but there isnt to many companies that make the undertail for the 954. Again, I am looking for the loudest thing out there, price does not matter.

That being said, anymore suggestions?

I have a full D&D on mine. But not like the one in the link mine is just a single. If you want a high moount why don't you go with a double stacked devil

 

I have the akrapovic full exhaust on mine, with the carbon fiber cannister, it's nice and deep i like it, i also have a power commander too (dynojet)

 

I love the sound of my exhasut... it's loud, but not obnoxiously so. Plus I've never seen anyone with my exhaust (and I plan on keeping it that way)... Genuine HRC here!
