I have an 02 954 silver/black and I want to get a new fuel tank cuz I have a very small ding in mine...problem is that the parts diagrams talk about a "Type 1" and a "Type 4" tank. Does anyone know the difference? Also, does anyone know if these tanks come painted with decals and all from the factory? Thanks!

 

The difference is the paint scheme.I went to ronayers.com there schematic will tell you the colors for each type.And yes they are the factory colors and decals.
