i took my bike out and rode it for an hour today and noticed that the speedo would cut in and out.. sometimes work and sometimes not the nuetral light would not be on someimes and when i put the stand down with it running it would cut off like it was in gear but it wasnt.. also sounded like there was a little miss in the bike.. could that be plugs or carbs? i do not know.. any ideas on any of this?

 

I got $50 on the carbs... Any takers? I'd check the gas first... Put some seafoam in your tank.

 

tank was very near empty all winter i just filled up today with supreme. i was thinking the same but i may just get them both done.. anyone on my speedo issue?

 

it is not the carbs you speak of since the f4i has no carbs it is fuel injected. you probably had bad gas from it sitting. and as for the speedo check all your connections
