Default Need Some Advise On Tires

I bought a dunlop d208 front tire for my 954 a month ago. My pit bull front stand came today. I have a bridgestone on the front and back. Will it make a big difference if I miss match tires, or should I have the exact same tipe of tire on the front and back. One of my friends said that it will make a huge difference if I stick a dunlop on front with my bridgestone on back. What do you guys think?

As long as they are in good condition your fine, the name on the sidewall wont matter.

208 is a crap tire....they slip and slide....bought a bike a few years ago and those where on it...after a month i ordered some m1's....right now on the 954 i have shinkos...came with it....dont like them ahole lot but i am running them down fast so i can get some of the pilot power 2ct's....my buddy is running some corsa's on his and those are pretty nice....dunlop has about one good tire out...its brand new and friends running them on his rc51 sportmax i think but we ran through some water last night and he said they suck on water in turns

My new Pirelli Diablo Corsas are really good tires. They have that wierd triple core thing so i can ride on the freeway and corner good. The sides of the tire are super sticky feeling like elmers glue after a ride and the center feels like my old harley tires. Good for high mileage on the freeway or canyon carving.
