Need Help ASAP. Stranded & bike wont start

yeah, I thought it was the red wire directly on the + terminal, and I thought it touched the frame as it was intermittent; however coming home last night (in the wet) it cut out again for a brief moment and then started fine, also only upon initial starting. So now it's sunny(ish) going to have another good look. My point being it only takes a small earth problem to kill the whole thing instantly...I thought my fuse would have blown, maybe I am barking up the wrong tree. Will have a good look at my relays today.

Update!
So here is a little update. Shredded the old kill switch and took it apart and every solder connection looks fine did continuity test and all the wires pass and are good. Had a buddy who used to work on bikes a long time ago come over and take a look and we hooked up a lawn mower battery and she turned over. Now this lawn mower battery was substantially larger. So I'm kicking my self in the *** thinking it was the battery all along.
So I take it to the auto store and test it old battery test at 6.9 volts the new one at 8.3 volts. So I'm kicking my self like wtf. Charge them both over night and hook them up to the bike but the same thing happens after charging for 20 hours. One of the cells in the new battery started to swell up tho think I left it on too long
After I hooked up bothe batteries, lights are brighter than ever but that relay under the seat started clicking again. I'm convinced it's something else along with the battery

Hey guys, so turned out all along that that it was the battery. I FEEL LIKE SUCH AN IDIOT. Im updating so this forum doesnt go unanswered if anyone else has this problem
my current battery had 2 dead cells that i guess it was on its way and my new battery that was sitting for a while, i had it on the trickle charger for a week and i guess one of the cells imploded... theres a huge lump in the battery on cell 3.
got a brand new battery off ebay TMS Gel battery, put it in and it started right up. i really like the TMS batterys, has connectors to test each cell... got it on ebay for $55 shipped. everyshop around me wanted $190 for a ytz10s battery so problem solved
