That's what I was thinking when I found out he had the motor rebuilt. Why not just swap in a used one? Unless its under warranty, I doubt shops spend the time to rebuild motors nowadays. Too much $$ for shop labor. Oh well. Maybe it wasn't his money being spent. Who knows.
