how many miles do you guys have on your 954's? im a little over 22k now and do about 10k a season, i rack up miles pretty quickly but im meticulous about maintainence. Im just concerned about the decrease in performance as mileage increases, anyone have any problems due to a lot of miles on their 954s? is 100k miles outrageously high for a well maintained bike? any help would be great, thanks in advance

 

i got a lil over 22k also, i have had no problems what so ever. i changed my oil every 3000, and finally at 22k i am doin spark plugs, oil, brake fluid, air filter, and coolant.(bought the bike at 6k and havent done anything but oil). ive seen 75k on a zx-7 and heard of no problems. a real good friend of mine has an r1 (i know ur askin bout the 54) with 40k and his bike still runs great.

 

as long as u maintain the bike will last forever..... eventually u will just replace every part in/on the bike.. but oh well
