almost 500 miles

Default almost 500 miles

so i currently have about 420miles on my 06 600rr, i know that i need to take her in for a 500 mi check up, but what other maintenance does my bike need, keep in mind that i have done nothing up to this point other thatn break her in as gentle as possible, and keep her full of gas. my i just want to know that i am doing all i can to keep er happy and healthy. oil? chain lube? wisper sweet nothings?

those should take care of it, of course you wanna check chain and sprocket wear to make sure everything is aligned properly

If they're a good dealerthen the service dept. will keep a record that the bike was at least brought back once for service. THEY ARE SUPPOSE to go over the whole bike make sure everything is still tight, adjust/lube the chain, check clutch/throttle cable specs, check psi, and change the oil. Glorified oil change in the house! But at least that it's on file that a service was done at the recommended interval. After that if you want to do it yourself keep all reciepts for filter, oil and other lubes.
