So as some of you have read, i wrecked my bike a while back. I have it almost 100% fixed now (except some scratches), and the last thing is the midpipe. Mine has a small bend in it which keeps the pipe from lining up in its bracket just right, and I have to pull down on it a little to get the bolt in to the passenger peg.

I just got a used one off ebay, and it just arrived. It's all straight, but the conical piece that inserts into the bolt on has been cut off.

Question is what difference will this make? Am I going to lose back pressure or anything else like that?
