Hey everyone. That little hole in my midpipe, is that a o2 sensor or what is it? Can I plug it up or will it hurt my performance? The reason Im asking all of this because every time I ride, my right side of my pants smell like gas and I think its because of this.

Could be from an aftermarket exaust, what pipe is on the bike

damn your pants smell like gas. is gas coming out of that hole? is the hole right before the slip on or closer to where the header meets the midpipe?

 

If youhave a hole in yourmidpipe and no 02 sensor then plug it up.

 

The pipe is from bootleg.

I live in KY and no I do not believe the bike came from CA.

I dont believe gas is coming out, just the fumes. The hole is about 12 inches away from the exhaust on the midpipe.

How do I know if I have an o2 sensor or not?

 

Chances are you don't have an o2 sensor but you aftermarket pipe has an opening for it. My bike is the same way but my pipe came with a plug to fill the hole.

 

Will plugging the hole decrease gas mileage or performance anyone? Is it a good idea to plug it and how can I do this?

 

It souldnt hurt anything. Your local hardware store should have threadedbolts that would fit into it. some pics of your exhaust would help.
